I checked K-Var online and did not find anything.  Maybe I should just give them a call.  Maybe I have asked the wrong question in my original post.  What I really want to do I put a muzzle brake on this ugly duckling gun, kind of dress it up a bit.

Hopefully, you already have a 22mm brake, because otherwise you're out of luck...

Most folks just thread the SAR-1 barrel 14mm x 1 LH and then there are many options to choose from.

I threaded mine with the rental kit from a member named wjm CLICK HERE

+1 from me.

With the 14mm, you can put on the slant brake for the "original" look, a slightly faux -74 brake, or a 14mm to 24mm adapter to ue the true -74 brake. Look in the Romanian forum picture thread. I've got pics of my SAR-1 with the slant brake and faux -74 brake recently posted.

I thought I would like the slant brake, but I think (for myslef) that the muzzle nut actually looks better.
