Howdy, Just traded into a very nice Yugo M70AB2. I put the first mag through it and it's a sweet shooter. However, there are a few issues that need to be addressed. Canted FSB is something I can fix. -The dust cover rattles quite a bit. Fore-to-aft movement is minimal, but side-to-side is prnounced. Can I squeeze the lower edges of the dust cover so they sit closer to the top of the receiver? Is there a better way to eliminate that slop? -Slant brake is loose as hell when oriented correctly for a right handed shooter. Should I evenly sand material off the back so can snug up to the FSB while being oriented correctly? I can throw some cold blue on it. Cheers! |

Yes, you can gently squeeze the bottom of the receiver cover to tighten the side to side play. Just be careful and go slow. The slant brake is meant to be loose and will tighten over time with shooting. But if it bothers you, you can remove material from the face of the brake until it tightens up. |
