Is it possible or should i not even bother wasting my time on modifying the receiver for the latch? Not sure what the tang on a triangle folder looks like. I have a folding Tapco on one of my Romy Gs and i honestly hate it. I like the look, plus the functionality of a left hand folder on an ak.

Install teh rear trunnion, cut a notch in the rec, for the latch, and drill a hole in the bottom into teh front trunnion for the latch pin. Should work out for you.

Unfortunately its not possible with out major mods. The AK 74 triangle folder has a slightly different rivet pattern than your AKM rear trunion. The existing 2 holes will not line up with the 74 trunion. You would have to weld up the foreward hole and relocate it. Big Nightmare!! NoDakSpud make a special AK receiver just for this type of build(AKM front & AK74 rear). hope this helps
