I have a red star trigger in my sar-1 and at the time of me putting it in, I went to shoot it and it jammed like crazy....it needs to be set, and can't go to the range for awhile.

This was a awhile ago...it has bothered me ever since because "what if I need it" it's not yet reliable because a need to get the trigger right. Thinking I should just put the old trigger (OG) back in until I could take it to the range again.

Should the old trigger go right in? Also how without going to the range make sure once the old trigger is in, it's good to go?

Thanks!

Old FCG should fit right in. And all you have to do is function check it once you change it to ensure that it will operate correctly. I would also disassemble, clean, then lube the bolt.

Never really done this before....but I said the hell with it, and started to take it apart....I did it. I'm glad cause now I know how to do it.
And thanks.

Put it in....pull the charging handle back put it on s and the hammer didn't dropped put it on f and it dropped, did this several times...and it's good to go.
