| No doubt this has been asked and will be asked long after... But what is the best way to tame my Romanian safe queen's slap??? I have a SAR-1 that will feed anything, is accurate for what she is, and is just great fun but she trigger slaps back so hard it numbs my finger after a while. I have read a few postings on what some do but what are some of the better fixes??? Would going from the single hook to a Tapco double solve this issue? Is that a bandage on a jugular? |

If you don't want to replace the FCG you can do the Trigger slap Fix.
It worked on my SAR 1 until I replaced it with a Red Star adjustable FCG. |

You don't need a double hook trigger. That requires modification of the trigger or receiver. You need a TAPCP G2 single hook fcg. THIS. It really is the easiest and best fix. I've done the trigger slap fix on a SAR-1 OEM FCG and it's inferior to replacing the whole FCG with the G2. |
| Use their poly mags at the range, they will break if you do anything serious with them. There's a video floating around somewhere testing all sorts of AK magazines while dropping the rifle in various positions onto a steel plate. Long story short, if it's not a military mag, don't bother. Not to mention the Steel commie ones are cheaper too. |
