| Has anyone had any experience with Tromix Saiga conversions? I have been wanting one in .308, but they are expensive. I need some feedback. Thanks. |
If you are willing to wait you will be happy with the outcome I had my stock break while a friend of mine was shooting the S12. I was worried because it only had about 350 rounds through it but had been over a year since it had been converted so I didnt know what to expect as far as warranty. I shot Tony a email and explained everything and told him I could take pictures to show him what happened. It seemed like a weird place for it to break and my friend wasnt doing anything out of the ordinary. I got one back a couple days later stating that he didnt need to see any pictures as they had had a few do this and had since re designed the mold. I had a new stock on its way and in my hands within the week His backlog is a mile long, and that should tell you something. By the time my number comes up it will have been a long time. I havent even looked at sending anywhere else. Tony Rumore builds are second to none. If you get bored look at some of his projects, the man iz a crazy genius |

Of all the Saigas, the 308 is the easiest to convert. - No mods to magwell or trunnion for mag fitting - No bullet guide - No holes in the sides of the receiver to fill. You end up with a couple of holes on the bottom of the receiver. This is the one Saiga that anyone can convert and make look good. |
