I want to turn a nice Polish underfolder into a nice sidefolder.
Is this possible with mininum effort and can it be made to look good?

Taking a solid stock to either underfolder or sidefolder is definitely possible and some know how to do it, although, you'd most likely have to send it to a professional to have it done.  But once the receiver has been drilled for the appropriate holes for an underfolder they would have to be rewelded over, new holes and cuts made to accomodate the different trunnion and then the install.  Sell it and buy the one you want or do what most of us do: just buy 'em both!

Sell the underfolder AK and buy a sidefolder AK is the cheapest, easiest way.

I'm going to keep the UF in it's somewhat uncomfortable configuration.

I am going to buy a nice Europian AK and slap my Polish Beryl sidefolder
on it. It's a great look and very comfortable.

Yeah, it's really easy.  Put the underfolder rifle up for sale on the EE, then buy a rifle with a sidefolder
