[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ultimak mount stability?

Does the ultimak mount shift? Is it very stable? I was thinking of mounting an Eotech or Comp Ml2 on it, onto a SA-M7 carbine, but I've heard some people say they are not stable and won't hold zero.

Any truth to that?

Also, how does it install and can you still reomve the gas tube?

mine is extremly stable and hasnt lost zero through 5000 rounds. it replaces the oem gas tube

It's very stable. I don't have 5000 rounds through it, but it is a solid design.
