Anyone have any good photos of how the underfolder gets assembled? I bought a unfolder stock set for a future SBR DRACO but have never really messed with one before and it seems there are at least two versions of the hardware because I can only find pics and examples of the one I don't have, any top down pics of the inside of the receiver would be helpfull.

I have a Romanian kit I'm sitting on so no real experience here.  From what I have read though the parts count is off about two to three pieces compared to all the others. Basically they are all the same though.

Okay I didnt get part #8 and I am not sure how 6 and 3 line up, I can see where pin 4 goes through them both but that just doesn't seem like that works.

#8 doesn't exist on Romanian underfolders, they only have locking lugs on one side.

#6 goes on the inside of the receiver. the sling swivel slots go up and down and #6 goes 90deg. to that. then pin 4 goes down thru 6 and holds it to the push button.  the tabs on 6 protrude from the inside out thru the 2 holes in the stock. study the pic, it will come to you. and as toyoland said above,#8 doesn't exist on a single latch style folder.(romy, chinese, bulgy) yugo's and polish have the double latch style.

How easy is it to take the UF on and off? Say if I lived in a state where such things were frowned apon BUT I also shot places where I could have the UF on?

What underfolding stock is the correct one?
Is it the milled Romanian one?

Thanks

As I recently got a Draco with underfolder trunnions, I would also be interested in this information.

That makes 3 of us interested. A guy on gunbroker sells the UF assembly with all the hardware, plus a UF trunnion. I have a Draco-C with the trunnion installed already. I was thinking having an extra trunnion might help with a guide on where to drill on the exterior of the receiver. THoughts?

Here is a link to one of that guy's GB Auctions

I made a underfolder rifle once, I think it was a polish folder
I had prefit everything using drill bits as pins because the pins included were a very tight fit, it was pretty difficult to get everything in the right order only going off of pics. I think I found somewhere online that described a how to. Just remember you need a hole under the receiver to take out one of the pins if you ever need to remove the parts, it gets covered by the pistol grip, luckily I bought a no dak receiver so it was already drilled with a brace welded over the pistol grip for added strength

there are templates out there showing where to drill the holes

Any one know what underfolder assemblies will fit the Draco?
Thanks

Finally dug out and took pictures of my Romanian underfolder parts(partially assembled without pins, and then laid out separately)... Which will later this year get a tax stamp and be installed on one of my Dracos.

As stated above, it's pretty similar to the "normal" underfolder system, except that part #8 isn't there or is rather an integral part of #3, I guess the Romanians decided they didn't need the second set of pins holding it in place.
