Hello all!!  I am trying to figure out whether it would be worth my while to install an adjustable FCG into my Wasr10.  Right now I have the factory trigger group in it; and I have stoned/ polished all of the friction surfaces.  It is far from the worst trigger pull that I have felt, but still leaves a lot to be desired.  I have been able to find 2 different brands of adjustable FCGs on the web and would like to find out which, if either of them, suits my needs.

The first one is this: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=25127/Product/AK_47_TRIGGER_UPGRADE_KIT
It looks pretty good, maybe even a bit radical.  I cannot find a review or any other information about this type, though.   I wonder if it would be as durable and reliable as a regular FCG...

And this is the second: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=9843/Product/AK_47_ADJUSTABLE_MILITARY_TRIGGER_KIT
It looks a lot more familiar; more like a regular FCG but with adjustment screws for trigger and disconnector travel.

So I guess my question is this:  Does anybody have experience with either of these trigger groups?  Are they honestly worth the $100+ price tags?

Thanks in advance for any input guys

If you have a Century fcg ( Was the trigger pull about 10 + #s and gritty before you polished it? If so, it's from Century.) you can upgrade to a G2 fcg for about $30 (last time I looked).
It's a big improvement.
If you have a G2 and you're looking for a better trigger, check the Red Star Arms fcg. many people recommend those.

I am using the Tapco G2 on my SLR-95 and IMO is a great trigger at a great price, I have it too on my henderson "Kypher pass" rifle.

Best one I have found is the Red Star one.  Easy to adjust for pull weight and crisp let off with NO slap whatever.  Not cheap like the G2, but it is worth every penny to some of us who are used to really good triggers on weapons.

I see three listed by Brownells

The Adjustable one is listed as manufactured by Power Custom -$ 104.99   It looks like the Red Star Trigger

The Second one they have listed is the G2 by Tapco  -  $ 32.99      Like others have said it's a good improvement for the Buck

The Third one is from JARD -$ 99.99      I didn't know they made a TriggerGroup for the AK series - I know they put out AR Triggers - On the Jard Website they have 2lb, 3lb and 4lb pull weight options

You can also send a Trigger Group out to someone like Bill Springfield ( I have AR Trigger Groups from him he does AK's ) and have the group worked over for probably around $35
