My new rifle hand functions fine with feeding ammo and such..
I have not fired it yet (doing that Saturday).. I did field strip it..
I noticed the chamber edge is like 1/16" past the heavy part..
Can someone confirm this is normal for the 54R for me.. I don't think Molot would screw up but have to ask..

Just a guess, but me thinks the 54r being a rimmed cartridge, while x39 is not, is the difference.

I would think that would be a normal clearance on the breech face for the extractor to get under the lip of the case rim.

It's fine. All the 54R VEPRs look like that.
