[ARCHIVED THREAD] - VZ 58 Help

Hope do get some help here. Trying to take down Vz 58. Pushing takedown pin to side and pushing back and up on cover to release it. But cover is not lfting high enough to clear its lower leg to remove. What am I missing here?? Thanks for any assistance.

Hang on a moment. I remember having a similar problem at first with my VZ 58.

Edit: Did you take the safety off and pull the trigger before trying to push the cover forward and up?

Problem Solved!!! 68 Mustangs video link solved it for me. What I was not aware of, is that you need to snap the tigger to decock it before starting takedown. Simple as that, but did not think to try it that way. Do appreciate the kind assistance. Thanks

What one do you have? Have you shot it yet? If so how do you like it?
I bought the century one and love it. I might get a second one. I Have to replace the stupid slant break with a muzzle nut or something. Here's mine.
