A friend wants to sell his AK. I want to assist him as he does not do computers. I am not schooled in the current price of AK's and do not trust the Blue Book to be accurate given the political climate right now so help will be appreciated. It is marked Poly Tech, Bejeing China, Model AKS 762, Cal 7.62 x 39, Semi Auto. The metal is 98% the wood (Straight Stock, Pistol Grip and Forend all Blonde) is 100%. Need a pic. Big difference between a Milled and Stamped Poly. Probably anywhere from 700-1200 depending on condition. Unless it is new and unused probably under a grand.

model 762. stamped. i think you had a good estimate. bad time of year to sell. there were two on other boards recently (one still is) for $700.00, and 800.00. no bites yet.
Thats about it, depending on condition. less if it needs to sell.

If the rifle has an integral Spike Bayonet, it would bring an extra 100-200 .

Wait till people get the tax refunds. Better yet use your tax refund and buy his rifle. They are great rifles.

That is a thought!! Hard to be good guy when greed steps in. Think i'll talk him out of selling it.
