What do you think of the Vector Arms AK47s Built from Hungarian and/or Polish parts w/ side folder stocks?  $499.  Good gun?  Good value? Anyone have one?

I had a Vector underfolder that was top notch.  Vector builds some nice stuff, and if you buy from Atlantic and tell Blaine that you are a member here you will get a discount.  Great combination, Vector and Atlantic.

I have two Vectors, one an underfolder and one a fixed stock version.  Although I don't have any other AK to compare them to, I've been completely satisfied with their performance.

Nothing but good things to say about Vector from my experience.  High quality builds and excellent customer service and above all very consistant in quality of work.  I own 3 from Vector and all are excellent.  My underfolder is very accurate for an AK.

I love mine, dearly, I bought from Vector direct and I've put about 1000 rnds downrange with it, it shoots about as good as you can expect from an stock ak with open sites... fit and finish are excellent

I rarely hear anything bad about Vector. I don't own one myself, but I've read more than enough positive threads to convince me that they're making a good product.

I agree with all the fellas, but I'd recommend a fixed stock version first.

I agreed - the fixed stock is a lot easier to shoot and the UF got the cool factor but my jaw hurt after 60rd.

Me too, I got rid of my WASR when I got the Vector. Great rifle.

I got the UF for sentimental reasons, but in retrospect after shooting it, though I love it, the thin metal piece your rest your cheek on is a bit unnerving, and while I love my UF, if I were to get another I would get a fixed stock..

I have a Vector UF.  It is a very nice gun (fit and finish).  The gun has a the nicest AK trigger I have ever felt, is accurate and reliable.  The Vectors carry a 5 yr warranty and they have good customer service.  I would recommend them.

We are Vectors largest distributor and see a large volume of their products, they produce a consistent high quality product at a reasonable price. We are now starting to stock their milled AK'S we have them in fixed stock wood or poly and a milled under folder, they are part of a limited production run.

I just handled a Vector for the first time last night at a local shop.  I was seriously impressed.  Probably one of the nicest AK's I've ever touched.

I picked this whole package up last year's SAR Show in PHX from Ralph @ Vector's table.  It is my favorite rifle that doesn't have the happy switch.

That picture did it for me. The Vector underfolder will be my next firearm purchase!
