I'm happy with mine.  I bought a poly Vector a few months ago.  Only a few hundred rounds through it so far, but no problems.  The fit and finish it nice.

Man, I just lost a long reply about mine!

I don't want to type it all out again, so let me just say that I bought my Vector UF in October '05, have put at LEAST 4,000 rounds of Wolf Black Box FMJ, Silver Bear JSP, and Wolf MC JHP through it.

I love it.  Everybody who sees it says that it is "Evil Looking".

I don't find it to be any less comfortable to shoot than my Vector fixed stock.

I'd recommend Vector to anyone, but have nothing to compare it to as the only AKs I own are Vectors.  Both are reliable and (as far as I can shoot) accurate for my intended purposes.

Enjoy yours.

I've got a Vector UF.  I am very happy with it.  Get the Vector... you can't go wrong.

Is it me, or am I posting something similar to this every week?  Maybe the AK forum should have a tacked thread about how good Vectors are?

If they did that survivorman would have no reason to post here anymore!

Mine is great.  The fit and finish is far above most AKs on the market now with the possible exception of Arsenal.  I wouldn't trade it for the world and it is 100% reliable.

Note:  Don't expect them to come from matching parts kits, though.  Vector takes the best usable parts from various kits and pieces the weapon together.  (Not that the lack of matching parts matters...but I was surprised).

He could still bash Century and talk shit about accuracy ...

Surprised that hasn't happened by now. He must be on vacation or lost internet connection. lol

Back on topic, Everything I've heard you can't go wrong with Vector. If I were to add another mid-range AK to my Yugo, I'd get one.

I've shot a Vector 7.62 underfolder on 3 separate occasions, 20 to 50 rounds each time.

Surprisingly comfortable, not a PITA at all.  Will easily hold "minute of man," hitting a 5/8 scale silhouette (sp?) about 8/10 times at 100 yards.  Reasonably compact when stowed.

I think I'd be REAL happy owning one.

I bought a Vector UF built on an East German kit from Atlantic Firearms.  The stock is tight, it's accurate, it has a chrome lined bore (if that matters to you) and it's reliable.  I had some issues with one of the rivets not being pressed correctly and an issue with the Parkerizing.  Vector corrected it quickly and the rifle has been good to go since.

Buy it.

I was wondering just the other day if he has anything except for the one Vector or if he has even put anything else in his hands. Seems like most brand loyal people just never could afford more then one so it HAS to be the best in their own mind. Reminds me of the Colt following in AR-15's. I'm sure he will let us know!

Vector is very unreliable.  I have one of their AR recievers.  Never had a problem.  Friend of mine ordered the same month and had nothing but problems.  I am sure AKs are same story.  They are not as bad as Superior Arms, but pretty close.
