How are WASR 10's these days?  I was offered one for a trade, IIRC they have/had problems....

Check for a canted front sight base and gas block. Check the trigger pull, most have a G2, but some have the Century fcg . Check the fit and finish to make sure those meet your standards.

Also, what's the trade for?

My WASR 10/63 had slightly canted front sight and I replaced the gas block with one that had a bayo lug. So the sight is straight now. Either way though I have never ever had any problems with it.

My recently purchased 10/63 is great, runs like a champ, little mag wobble, no canted sights or gas block, the finish blows (but they all do), I only had to check over a dozen rifles to find the one I was happy with.

The point is, make sure you A)know what you're looking for & B)look closely at the rifle to make sure it'll suit you.

Also break the gun down and look down the bore and make sure nothing is bent or crooked. Thats how I found out my barrel/receiver was bent.
