Last weekend the extractor on my WASR cracked and liberated itself from the bolt.  It could have been bad as the extractor then found it's way into the chamber.  Luckily it got hung up and did not allow the next round to go into battery.  I found it when I cleared the rifle.

Where can I buy a replacement?  Also, post a link to the best on line video showing how to DIY replace the extractor.

Thanks.

I see that you have moved to Arizona. Aren't you missing Michigan snow?

K-Var.
East German extractor.
German parts have best workmanship and finish.
K-Var shipping will be higher than the price of extractor, so consider some other parts you may
need in the future.

I don't know of any video links.
First you remove the small dia pin and pull out firing pin.
Then you remove the larger dia (extractor) pin, but be careful, extractor and spring may fly somewhere not to be found.
Installation is reverse process. Compressing the extractor spring while inserting extractor pin in proper orientation will
be slightly more difficult.
I'm sure you can figure this out without video help.
