I tried removing my stock last weekend and it just wouldnt budge...I disassembled the entire gun and tried smacking it out with a hammer and a socket wrench.  The sucker just wouldnt move any...I am afraid that if i keep trying to move it, i may crack the stock. Any advice?  TIA

That's about the way to do it.  Also try whacking the buttstock itself with a rubber mallet.  Some of the laminated ones are the hardest to get out.  You have the barrel locked into a padded vise?
