I see that the GP WASR in 7.62 comes with threaded muzzle and bayo lugs.  Is there a WASR-3 model that has the same features?  Everywhere I have looked, it appears the WASR-3 are neutered.

Theyare not Neutered. They are designed for use with a Threaded Front Sight Block, as are the 5.45 models. The appropriate way to deal with this is to buy a Threaded front sight block and add it to the rifle, along with the idiosyncratic 22mm Romainian Brake. (other Warsaw Pact Nations used the standard 24 mm threads) These were adopted because it was easier and cheaper to cast the threads into the FSB, rather than Machine them into finished barrels. K-var has the FSB in stock.

Chris at AK-USA makes a nice copy of the original Romanian 22mm brake.
