I milled out the magwell without a problem but the mags hit the pin just behind the magwell and it stops them from fully seating.   Anybody have and idea of whats going on here?

gonna need a pic. Is it catching on the mag release?

I'll take a pic and post it up in a while.  I see the pin I'm talking about already has a flat ground into it to clear the mag, I guess I just need to grind a larger flat into it.   The pin is just behind and above the magwell.  Just above the mag release.  It could be called a rivet also.

Are you referring to the center support, that's inside the receiver?

Yes, you could call it that.

You can certainly relieve the center support so the magazine fits in the rifle. Go slow, test often with several magazines and don't remove any more metal than you have to.

Worked out OK, thanks!    I used a die grinder and ground out just enough for the mags to fit in.   Now I just need to head to the range and test fire it.

be sure your bolt is wide enough to pick up rounds from both sides of the mag, if you have a safe place to test cycle a few rounds. the lip on the bottom of the bolt was narrowed on the misr-10 that i converted. i had to weld some extra width on mine and reshape it because it would only pick up from one side of the mag. just FYI
