[ARCHIVED THREAD] - WASR TAPCO Trigger ??

I am trying to help a friend
He has a WASR with terrible trigger slap, from reading sounds like the TAPCO trigger is one way to cure it. I was going to order a TAPCO trigger and install it for him but see there are two differnt versions, double and single hook.
Which one should I get and what is the difference between them?

Get the single hook. A double hook has 2 hooks and would require a modification to the second hook or another slot cut in the receiver forward of the hole for the trigger to work.

Mine came with a G2, and has no slap.

Are you sure his does not have one?

His is a older WASR, trigger is unmarked

That's the old triggers Century used to use. The G2 will be better.
