| I bought a new Century Arms WASR and it has a "C" marked trigger installed. I have been told that it is a Century Red Army standard trigger. I have been looking online to try and find info regarding any known issues with these triggers, but I'm not finding much info at all. Does anybody here have a rifle with this trigger? I'm just curious if these triggers have any known issues. I will say that it is a very smooth trigger. I thought they were using G2 triggers in these rifles, but apparently not. |

Mine had the same trigger in it - I was under the impression it was just made by God knows who for Century with the C to mark that it is a 922r part. I replaced it anyway with a Tapco single hook. I may end up doing this as well after the one year warranty expires. Did you have any issues with trigger slap? |

Only reason I changed out the trigger was the fact that the Century made trigger was gritty and there was enough trigger slap that if I shot a couple of mags, I would feel it in my trigger finger.
It was not a deal breaker, but the tapco trigger was cheap and it fixed the gritty issue and the trigger slap I had. FYI, if you have a Century WASR with a muzzle break/flash hider on it, it will also have a C stamped on it somewhere. |

My muzzle break does have a C stamped on it as well. Thank you. |

I've used the "C" trigger groups with no issues, and they are 922r compliant. Really? What is it exactly? (I got impression it was comm bloc army of some sort?) - OS I believe the "C" stands for Century. They produced their AKs with the "C" fire control groups for years before they switched to G2. |

| So does that mean that the new triggers on the wasrs aren't Tapco G2s anymore? I just bought a WASR made this year online and haven't recieved it yet. I love the feel of the tapco trigger and I hope that's what I'm gettig and not the C stamped trigger y'all are talking about. |

I sure hope I get the same. It doesn't sound like that Century trigger is any good. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Quoted:

I just got a wasr from atlantic last week and it had the tapco trigger Mine came with a "C." I've never used a G2, but I can tell you the "C" is better than the trigger my Arsenal came with. |

My two are both less than a year old but bought several months apart from different vendors, the "new config" with the solid wood stock, and both have the Tapco G2. - OS |

Quoted: The new "C" trigger is the Century RAK1 FCG, Yeager has a video on it. My 2015 WASR bought early June has the Century FCG. |

That makes sense, so the Century RAK1 trigger is what your WASR came with? That's the C stamped trigger? if that's the case then I'm cool with that instead of the Tapco. Quoted:

I may end up doing this as well after the one year warranty expires. Did you have any issues with trigger slap? I'm late to this thread, but I wanted to comment on the Tapco G2 single hook trigger. It came with my Century Arms WASR and is said to eliminate trigger slap. Mine, however, has trigger slap. I tried grinding on the back of the seer, as in the Youtube video to eliminate the slap, but I still can't get rid of it. ALG Defense (Geissele) has their new AKT trigger out that is supposed to be the best trigger on the market for AK's. In their video Bill Geissele promises it will not cause trigger slap. So, for $49 I ordered one last night. There is more info on this trigger at http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_4_96/159250_ALG_AK_Trigger___.html. |
