I recently bought a SLR rail and gas tube to put on my 2009 WASR.  Turns out the gas block is canted, and this has resulted in the piston binding on the gas block and the gas tube.  It's bad enough that I have to kick the bolt open, and smack it to get the bolt into battery.  I've tried to find a gunsmith in the local Amarillo area, but most of the responses I've gotten have been things like, 'The gas block was designed to be canted, you have to open up the tube/gas block so it won't bind.'  So, I'm looking for a gunsmith to fixed the canted block.

What I want, is someone who has a relatively quick turnaround time, who can fix my rifle without f****** remember you are in a technical forum. dryflash3 it up.  I know a lot of the big name guys have long turnaround times because they do such a great job building rifles.  So, anybody have any recommendations for a good AK gunsmith, who won't have my rifle for 6 months?
