Does anybody else remember some of this stuff? Three years ago, when Gary Gucciano first appeared over at AK47.net he said he was AN APPRENTICE GUNSMITH that worked for a REAL GUNSMITH and that HE (GARY) worked on AKs in his spare time? Within one year Gary was a "Master Gunsmith" and already ONE YEAR behind. Okay, now here is where I get confused. According to Gary I have heard him say that he got behind the FIRST YEAR because HE (GARY) got so sick HE ALMOST DIED. Causing him to be ONE YEAR BEHIND. Then, the SECOND YEAR the story changed into HIS SON ALMOST DIED during the SECOND YEAR. Causing him to be TWO YEARS BEHIND! Then, into the THIRD YEAR, his WIFE got so sick SHE ALMOST DIED!. Which is why he had made so little progress in catching up with his NEARLY THREE YEAR backlog of work. Now with ALL THE REST that has been said what I want to know is this: Does anybody else remember the same things? Mike ps, I think you guys have succeeded....I cannot imagine how SAI can stay in business now that his true friends at AK47.net have "washed their hands" of him. |

being as how I'm new and don't know anything, I'm trying not to jump to any conclusions. This does remind me though of the MASH episode where Klinger is trying to get a hardship deferrment. The Colonel pulls out his file and it reads something like: Last year, Mother sick, 2 years ago, Brother dead and Mother sick, 6 months ago, Brother sick, Mother ill, baby Sister cancer, 3 months ago.... munk |

I remember Mike, but the order of calamities was - GG sick, Wife Sick, Baby sick- plus various problems with air compressors, renegade deer, Ice Storms, Wind Storms, ISP problems, Whiners .... complainers ... cry babies ... fish eyes .... lost in the mail ...my helper quit ... people flame me ... I strive for perfection .... I was too busy to ship it last week ... you will like the end result ... Ice storm ... I had dental surgery .... Family reunion came up ... I went on vacation .... server problems ... email problems ... I don't have an FFL on file for you ... computer virus ... I dont have a receiver for you in the books ... liars and trolls slowed me down ...I made a mistake on shipping obviously... yet even with that I have been trying to ship all whiners things the cheapest way (since some of them never paid a dime.... i.e. I have to absorb that cost .... Auburn, Harveyville, wherever.... I shipped from both places ... Think about it (although I know you will not) ... when did I tell you I ALWAYS sleep???? Answer: between 7:00-10:00.. then I start the day. I didn't sleep that day when I went to Topeka for you so I could take a picture. If I said one place and meant another that's pretty lame. Your rifle was shipped from harveyville. You would have seen that if you didn't made an assumption like you did. (and come on, that's ridiculous! I would send you a copy of the same receipt I POST ON THE NET???? geessshhhh that doesn't even make sense .... I have a trace running and when/if I find something out I will notify ... I didn't intend to get caught on the phone with a drunk (and completely intoxicated) customer. Anyway, I have to take care of some things that i missed with I went to Topeka, but i will get this other done for you by this evening for sure..... Sorry about the delay getting back with you. I will have to take a picture... and the band played on |
