Picked up a WASR underfolder, nasty trigger slap. Does it take a single or double hook Tapco trigger? Thanks for any assistance!

A single will fit anything. If you have two slots, as in the pic, you can install a double hook. Or you can cut the second slot with a file.

It would be hard to mess that one up with that kind of picture explanation haha

Is there an advantage over either one?

Not really, but a double hook "might" have a smoother trigger pull and would still be functional if one of the hooks broke off as well as keep the hammer centered better. I run both and really see no difference.

If you polish the metal on metal contact points you get an outstanding trigger.

I agree. If you have no experience polishing triggers, a great way to start is to take some Nevr-Dull on contact points and polish it until it's as smooth as butter. It'll get rid of that 'grit'.

Seems like the Tapco trigger is pretty common, but I bought a K-Var single hook for my Romanian sar2.  Read here;

Today I bought another one for my SAR1.  I'll do the rivet switch on the SAR1 also.  I like the K-Var.
