A Local shop has a used thumbhole stocked MAK-90 for $799.99, and 2 WASR-10s for $649.99 each along with Wolf 7.62x39 for $11.95 a box

Just thought I'd share why I hate gun shops.

Hey!  I went to the gun show today and the $1100 Yugo Underfolder is ON SALE at $1000!  You know, the exact same Century one AIM sells for $469?  They even had Colt 6920's for $1800!!  Good old Shoot Straight, Inc. - straight shooters they are.

I can only assume your talking about Shoot Straight in central Florida. I live like five miles from the Orlando shop and haven't been in there in a year. They are the worst when it comes to prices and knowledge!

Seems like every state has "one of those" dealers.

Here in Oregon, it's called The Security Store.  When you walk in, you are instantly wowed by the sheer selection.  If it's an EBR that's been on the market in the last five years or so, there's a good chance they'll have it in stock.  I mean, it's absolutely incredible how much sweet inventory they have.

But when you look at a price tag, you immediately figure out how come they have so much inventory.  $700 WASR's and $1,200 "Dragunov's" (Romanian PSL's) are typical.  They are DEFINITELY catering to buyers who just fell off the turnip truck. No sane person would shop there.

And someday when they go out of business they will forever wonder why...

Sounds like Nagel's in San Antonio.  I think they are still trying to sell 6920's for $1599.

Wow- didn't know people were still getting burnt like that. WASR-10 going for 400 bucks in my neck of the woods all day long. Buyers really need to do some research before buying.......
