I read somewhere online not too long ago how to wrap a wire folding stock. Now I can't find it, after different searches.

Can somebody help me out?

Just get some 550 cord and experiment with it. I dont think there's a particular way it must be done.

Search for wrapping knife handles and use a similar method. I also like using a heat gun or hair dryer as the 550 cord shortens when exposed to heat. Makes it seem like its part of the stock.

I'f you're just looking to do the section where you get a cheek weld you could try this,

I've done a couple flashlights using this method and it works out well, the only problem I could foresee is the one you pull likes to be as straight as possible to tighten it. If you make the turns also it might not come out right, but hey it's not like you have a lot invested!
