I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE YUGOS ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND AND HAVE READ SOMEWHERE THAT CENTURY IS RUNNING OUT OF PARTS.  IS THIS TRUE?

AM I GOING TO BE OUT OF LUCK IF I NEED PARTS FOR ONE OF MINE IN THE FUTURE?
I JUST BOUGHT A UNDERFOLDER AND FIXED STOCK LAST WEEK.  I WAS HOPING TO PICK UP ANOTHER UNDERFOLDER AND AN RPK IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.  DON'T KNOW IF THAT WILL HAPPEN OR NOT.

WHAT PARTS SHOULD I BE STOCKING UP ON?  DOES ANYONE KNOW, ARE WE SEEING THE LAST OF THE YUGO'S.  I KIND OF WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT MINE A LONG TIME AGO.

It's just a matter of time before they are all gone. Good thing is most of the maintaince items or parts that could break are common parts with other Ak's. I wouldn't worry to much about stocking up on parts you "might" need. Ohter than ammo.

FWIW, I emailed AIM about this as they have none listed on their site anymore and was told by Bryan that they don't expect anymore. Centerfire  kinda hints at getting more in though as they said they will fill orders in a few weeks. I know of a few locally, but they are above the $550 range. I'll go with another Vector for that money.

What about J&G sales any experience with theirs.  Their website says the still have some.  Is Century not going to do anymore.

If I were to buy another ak what should I get Yugo RPK or Vector.  Who makes the bulgarian ones AIM is advertising?

THanks

It seems that the most fragile parts (trigger group, bolt/pin/ejector, etc.) can be taken from any AK variant. I do want to get some of these small parts too just to put in my field bag.
