Thanks Guys, I almost made a $100 mistake. The dealer wanted $599 ! I was leary because he had a lot of stuff that I WAS familiar with that was also priced too high, so I decided to come home and ask you guys. By the way, is that YUGO a good way to go for my first(and maybe only ) AK ? SKIP |

If you have an opportunity to look the gun over then it is an excellant first and only BUT, the Yugo is a differant breed in that it is made heavier than most with it's grenade launcher, heavier trunion and thicker receiver. Also note it does not have a chrome lined barrel if that matters to you. Many fine firearms have been made and are still being made without it. I like my Yugo because it IS defferant and has that indestructable feel to it. Now another option for a hundred and so more is a Vector classic or a Lancaster at Atlantic Arms. www.atlanticfirearms.com/programming/listview.asp?CatId=2 |
| I payed $455(plus tax) for my Yugo under folder. I then had to pay UPS$21 to ship the rifle back to Century. It hit 5-6" right of point of aim at 50 yards. But, more importantly, when the gas hole was drilled on top the barrel, the monkey drilled into the opposite side of the barrel. |
