Can I build a M70 kit using a sheet metal receiver?

It originally had a milled receiver, and I purchased a sheet metal receiver that is supposed to fit a M70.

Will it work, or will I have to get a milled receiver?  Thanks.

Yes it can be done but you will need to grind down the forward and aft parts of the receiver so they fit inside the sheet metal receiver.  the basic idea is that they will need to be modified to act just like the trunions on a stamped kit.
