| I'm guessing the underfolder are easier to come by but are the sidefolders really more sought after. The sidefolder sure feels better then the underfolder on the cheek. What would a 2003 sidefolder kit build be worth in unfired pristine condition? What say the krink bunch? |
| I never have seen one in kit form, just ones people built and turned them into sidefolders. They say they never came that way but I have a hard time believing that due to I have seen time and time again things like this be proved in different variants. I need to get a russian sidefolder myself to do mine as a sidefolder and I don't care if original or not. I do think they did build a side folder version, seems i seen pics at one time of one or two. |

SF are comfortable & great shooters. I recently added Krink 74 Tula that RGuns was selling & Bulgy 7.62 pistol that Mario built from POHF. |
| you got lucky. I am pretty sure a m95 was sold as a sidefolder option back before they ran out of them. They ran out of them and cost already gone up when I got my m92. I sat on mine for 5 yrs now. Which nodak receiver did you use for the build? I like to see pics of it. |

Yes I did. Yours looks good. I had been emailing back and forth with him ince last night.
I will be doing a sidefolder build most likely milled but depends how tight funds are i may have to do a stamped one. I would save a good 200.00 on stamped build vs milled. I may just built it and not sbr it yest and do the milled then sbr it as soon as i can later. I just don't want extra weld or anything on it. Thats a nice m92 bwp777. What color stain? Who built it? |
| The stain I'm not sure of. It was built by a guy in AZ. JKF had it re-finished because it was originally parkerized. It shoots quite well so I'll keep it and SBR when I get my trust done. I will use the Bulgy 4 piece so it will be Bulgy on the ends and Yugo in the middle. I think it will be the best of both worlds. I'm gonna remove all the wood, put a quad rail w/ flashlight and Aimpoint M4, spraypaint and call it done. I like shooters not safe queens. |
| If you are asking me to sell the wood parts then send me an email to [email protected] |

No Yugo AK's were ever made from the factory with a sidefolder- that is a purely American parts kit creation, but it was done because it feels nice and it looks cool! I stand corrected, I was checking some of my resource books and the Yugo's DID use a sidefolder that folder right and looked a bit like an FAL or ACE sidefolder. But I don't think any kits were ever imported. |
