NIIIIIIIICE. thats one hot looking VEPR.

You have the Ultimak ACR2 rail mount correct? When you ordered it, did you order the "long" or "short" version? How is the build quality and fitment? I'm really interested because I have a VEPR on its way and I was looking into the ultimak system. As you may have seen, I posted a question regarding a B&T mount….which looks really well made, but its not known if they fit on VEPRs or not.

Both systems cost upwards of 300 so I’m trying to figure it all out before dumping all that money into it.

Also, is there any particular reason why you didn’t opt for the upper ultimak rail to mount a sight?

VERY NICE!!!!!

Would you be willing to modify those adapters and sell them? I'd sure as hell like one for my Vepr...

I'm interested in the railed HG info as well.

Where can I get the rail covers? Or are they included with the HG?

Which ACR did you get? Standard or Long (You said short so I'm assuming standard)? Milled or Stamped?
I'm assuming it's a bolt-on replacement for the Vepr HG?

Thanks!!

Very nice rifle! How is the weight distribution after installing the ultimak? The vepr k hand guard is one serious piece of plastic. I was really considering replacing it with an ultimak if the weight difference was worth it.

-those are the MAGPUL rail covers no covers come with the rail

I guess I dont know anything about rail covers, but are those hard textured plastic, or rubber-grippy-niceness?  I'm used to Hogue products, and I love the rubbery-ness of them. I dont really want a harsh plastic gripping surface.

Well how is the balance of the rifle? Is it front heavy now? Or the same as before?

I don't mean to ask a stupid question......but, why didn't you just thread the barrel?

Thanks,

How easy was the installation of the Ultimak rail?  I have the optic rail on order and plan on eventually getting the ACR2 forend for my Vepr K .223.  I have the ACR2 on my Sar-1 and didn't have much trouble putting it on.

BTW that is 1 nice looking rifle.

Thanks for the link to Black Jack Buffers.  Good prices.  Are they friendly and service oriented, ie, were you happy with how they dealt with you?

There are so many places to order stuff from, but so few of them take care of their customers in a decent and friendly fashion.

Any comments are appreciated.

I greatly appreciate the reply.  I'm tired of getting my butt blistered by companies that love to take my money and give me nothing but a headache in return.

I cruised around their website.  They have a nice selection of items.

I thought I would bring this to the front again for some people who are looking for information on
the vepr flash suppressor I installed.

Thanks, I'm trying to find a way to thread my VEPR K to 14x1mm LH because I already have several flash surpressors and muzzle brakes in that size.
