[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ak-74 trigger group

I am going to build a ak-74.I want to buy the us parts to be 922r legal.Iam looking at the trigger groups, one is single hook and one is a double hook what is the difference and which one do i need?

They will both work, you'll have to file a little notch in the recever for the double hook..Only difference is one has two hooks and the other one..I have singles in all mine...Some say the double is a little smoother but I cant tell much difference...

ETA: I would suggest an RSA trigger group or a Tapco G2

for chep, the gordon g2 group or the usa parts from k-var will work just fine.
if you are going for the the best shot release possible, the red star arms parts are well worth the extra money.
