I have one that reads b-west la ca  china is this one of the good ones or not? since I have had it for a month I put around 600 rounds ---with no problems

yes, that is the good one, the ones with the US made receiver is the one to avoid.

shovelhead, (hey, i got a shovel...and a knuckle!) yours is a norinco. it was only imported by b-west...not manufactured by them. you got one of the good ones.

thank for the info im happy its a keeper--campy just sold my shovel 2 weeks ago and bought a 94 fatboy I guess Im a evo now or a yuppie as my buds would say

aaarrrgggghhhh! ANOTHER yuppie evo rider! heheh!

i'm still lusting for an evo. sometimes, i'll take the knuck' out and i'm the only guy still riding a chopper, let alone a hardtail. all the other bikes are those $25k 'armchairs-on-wheels'! an the modern idea of "customizing" is to bolt on $4k worth of screamin' eagle crap and $5k worth of harley dealership chrome goodies.

ah...the good old days. sending parts to brown's in kentucky for croming...installing jeep pistons...putting a big su carb off a jaguar on...
