Stick with it or go to triangle side folder. So far the only advantage of the triangle is that it looks great! The standard folder can be unlatched from folded position much easier and carries the cleaning kit. opinions? |
| two advantages of the triangle folder is it's lighter and thinner that helps take up less space while folded. It is really night and day comparing a folder to say a scar or any of the new high tech folder rifles as far as being less bulky all around, that might not be important to some but in an urban environment where everyones scared to crap of evil big black guns it's a pretty big deal to me when I want to go enjoy a day at the range. |

I noticed you mentioned about the triangle stock not being as easy to fold / unfold - I would have to disagree, it's not difficult at all to release the latch when in the folded position, definitely a one finger operation. There is no difference going to the folded position. Regarding the cleaning kit - I don't miss the kit in the original butt stock - yeah it was a nifty place to put it and you always had it with you but I'll be honest with you, I never have once used a cleaning kit while out shooting. I'm doubtful you'll miss it. If it means that much to you sew a small pouch to your sling and store it there.
