I have a SAM7 G my wife bought me last year. I'd like to put a flash hider like I saw on the SAM7 SF (folding stock model). Can this be done? Are the threads the same? The flash hider it came with is about the only think I dont love about this rifle.  Thanks. Eric

You'll need to get an AK-74 front sight block from K-Var or elswhere, and then knock the muzzle brake off of your SA-M7 and press the new sight block on. This is the flash suppressor used on the SA-M7A1 and SA-M7SF models. K-Var will be getting more in, right now they are all going on rifles being sold. www.k-var.com/product.asp?0=216&1=234&3=574 I highly recommend the front sight be taken off and the new one installed by a competent gunsmith who's familiar with AK's and has the press needed.
