Might be a dumb question but do any of you know if the 5.56 weiger mags can be used or converted for use in a Galil? I have quite a few and shot a Galil last weekend and got bit by the bug and gonna get one soon.

The weiger mags can be converted to work in the Valmet , & would probably lock up in the Galil. The feed angle might be wrong though. Galil mags are easy to find though & are not too expensive.

Thanks man, guess ill have to get a galil to try all the mag options out

Would you happen to know if the rifles offered from Atlantic Firearms or J&G sales have any of the reciever and magwell issues that have been raised in the past? Any preference on dealers?
