This may be a dumb question, but how do you know what size holes to drill in the REC???

The template I have gives hole sizes to the thousanth of an inch, but states to ONLY use metric drill bits???  sounds a bit dumb to me.

5/32 on front and 11/64 on threw rivets

thanks, what about all the other holes?

Should I just mic the pins with calipers and use the closest bit?

I think socandyman means that you want to use the 5/32" drill bit for all 6 of the front trunion rivets - the short rivets. Use the 11/64" drill bit for the two rear trunion rivets - the long rivets.  Other than that, there aren't any other holes for a standard fixed stock AK.
