Heres the first rifle Ive converted - a 762 converted to new stocks, installed Dinzag bullet guide, trigger group, and lower handguard retainer.

All in all it was fun.

Yes, its real sweet. I used KVar Nato stocks (a bit longer than warsaw version). The pistol grip is comfortable. I actually reinstalled the BHO and its working.

I just have to mod the mag latch to take standard AK mags... then going to test fire and refinish.

Question: Does the Saiga factory mag work with the bullet guide installed?

The factory mag needs some mods to work with a bullet guide. Basically the tit on the front-top of the mag works as a bullet guide, so that needs to be shaved down a bit.

In order to make normal ak mags work in a Saiga, you need a bullet guide, and also have to shave down the mag catch enough to clear the rear tab on the mag.
