I am building a reciever using a tapco flat and guide rails.  I have a video from AGI on how to build an ak, and they say to use a 15/64 drill bit to space the rails (between the rails and the top of the reciever).  When I put the bit in, the holes on the reciever and rails don't line up correctly.  I am assuming that one or both of the holes are off.

My question is, is this going to be a problem?  Any thoughts or comments?

Thanks for your help!

The drill is just used to keep everything parallel between the top and lower rails.  There is no single drill that will work for every build.  What I do is try different sizes until I get the one that has my lower rails with the corresponding rail on the trunnion and use that.  The important thing is to get a transition from lower rails to trunnion as seamless as possible.

Agreed, your going to have to deal with the holes not lining up.  You must have the rails and the front trunnion perfectly aligned.
