i don't see why it would not work. akm (stamped) fire control groups are readily available and very inexspensive, though. for safety/timing issues, i would prefer to see all the parts be from the same type of rifle. even though ak fire control guts can pretty much be swapped at will, there were changes in geometry made over the years/production models. there are also minor changes in geometry in the parts due to variations in each countrys' production., i take it you are building a pmds? what receiver are you planning on using? the itm/oow requires minor fitting of the hammer cocking surface if certain imported hammers are used. |
