there was a thread on here dealing with using a length of allthread to press a barrel in.

the guy had a special plate he made to fit against the trunnion, looked kinda like this

anybody know the thread im talking about or know the measurements for that plate?

Ok, here's a pic with some measurements.  The measurements are approximate.  When I made this, I just started off with a 1" x 1" piece of metal that's about 0.20" thick and just cut a little here and there until it fit inside the receiver behind the bolt carrier.  As was mentioned earlier, a stack of washers would probably work too.  They would need to be notched at the top to fit around the little tang that sticks out the back of the bolt carrier though.
