Yep! 
In brief: • PITA to install/remove from the extension tube • Included pictorial instructions were worthless; had to go online to download the written instruction sheet • Locking feature works as advertised. Fits snug on the tube even w/o the lock engaged, but engage the lock and it pretty much becomes a fixed stock; this is easily the most solid-feeling adjustable stock I've ever encountered. • Relatively light weight • "Nontraditional" skeletonized look works well on the AK. Doesn't scream "I transplanted my M4 stock" • Cheek-weld surface is marginally better than a regular M4, but nowhere near as nice as the VLTOR stock • Add-on rubber buttpad helps keep the gun from sliding around if you wear nylon gear (chest rig, etc), but doesn't do much for recoil reduction as it's too thin. |
Yes, I put one on the -74 just to play with it and do some comparisons with the CTR; the VLTOR normally resides on my Saiga-12 shotgun.
Not sure I understand your question? No problem using the sights with either stock. |
