Has anyone had any good luck with Norinco mak 90's? Do they have milled or stamped recievers, and is the back of the reciever slanted? I found one for 400.00 with 400 rouds of ammo and a 30 round mag. Should I buy it or wait for a Vector. thanks travis

Mak 90's were avaliable in milled or stamped recievers.. The stamped ones were straight or angle cut.. so beware of what you buy..  If the one you found is a milled reciever gun  jump on it they make a very nice AK ...

Stay away from the slant cut receivers. You'll play hell finding a stock for it. $400 seems high. Around $300-350 max is better. One mag and 400 rounds don't mean crap frankly. Mags and ammo are dirt cheap in 7.62. I wouldn't pay over $300 dollars for it. And if you want a pistol grip and have to 922r the thing you'll wind up with over $500 bucks in it. I know. Bottom line do what you want but $400 is too much IMHO

I woudn't pay much more than $200 for a slant-cut unless it was one of the underfolder ready models. As for a regular reciever guns if it is milled $400 isn't bad, if it is stamped I wouldn't pay it, the most I would go is $350 unless it had already been converted with 922r parts.
