Do you mean that the reticle is off center in the scope? If that is so then it is not a problem. One of the many quirks of eastern optics is that the part with the reticle in it moves independently within the sight picture when you adjust the scope. In both my LPS TIP-2 and my 1p21 scopes the reticle is rather far off center. It is not really a big deal for me as both scopes still adjust properly and there is a decent amount of empty space in my sight picture all around he reticle in every direction on all settings in both scopes. If this offset is a problem for you then I suggest getting a replacement western style optic or just dealing with the 'problem.'
If you mean the reticle is twisted with in the scope there could be a problem and a new scope may be in order. IMO a different optic helps the PSL and luckily there are numerous options of inexpensive durable and of all aound good quality eastern optics that will fit your PSL. If the you mean the scope body is twisted and thereby canting the sight picture in relation to the verticle axis of you rifle, I'll have to go look at mine again, but there may be a way to adjust the scope's mount to correct the problem. Normal offset example from a 1p21: http://www.dragunov.net/scopes/1p21_80.jpg if you want to know more about the optics: http://www.dragunov.net/scopes.html |

also!! will a posp 8x fit on our rifles??or does it need a diff adaptor?? I hope so, I just ordered one for my psl that is due next week. As I understand it, if you purchase the POSP version with the SKS/SVD mount and not the AK, then your good with the PSL, this sentence also covers my RDA of acronyms. |

Sight the rifle in before you worry about where the reticle is inside the scope.
Mine is also off center, but only slightly even sighted in. When you do the initial sighting in, since the reticle is in the first plane, it is what will move to zero it. So don't worry about it. However mine did stay pretty centered, so hopefully yours will too. |
