is it worth the $55.00 to change the rear sight over to a krebs peep sight ?or should i just use what i have and buy ammo.

Keep it stock, it ain't that bad.

They are very nice, as is the mojo sight. I just prefer a $100 4x scope (or $125 Kobra from a few years ago)

I've probably got more money than sense, but I sprung for the peep AND a Kobra optics.
I'm 53 and my eyes just ain't what they used to be.  I have enough trouble trying to see the front sight without trying to level it on the rear (age related hardening of the lenses causing poor focus at closer distances.)  For me, the peep gives me a better aiming point in case the Kobra has to come off.  I know my groups are smaller with the peep than with the stock rear sight.  How much smaller?   IIRC, about 30%, so that $50 was worth every penny.
