[ARCHIVED THREAD] - rivet head sheared

Has anyone seen a rivet head shear off? Just took delivery of a 74 and the mushroom cap of the rivet head appears to be sheared off. This is for the safety switch connector, on the left side of the receiver.

Other than this, the build quality looks fantastic. I will post a pic.

Its supposed to be like that so the safety can be removed.

What is weird is you can still see the impression from the rivet head.

Yep that's the safety lever, looks like that receiver has a stamped ring around the hole, probably to either make sure the safety is engaged into the hole better, or add some rigidity around that hole.

This is the Bulgarian that Classic Arms is selling. Assembled by TGI. Even at 779, I am extremely happy with the quality of it. never shot a 74 though.
