does any one know if you can put a bulgarian 5.56 barrel on a sar3?

Bulgarian barrels come in both 22 and 23mm. Measure your barrel diameter at the trunnion and order the correct barrel from K-var.

Out of curiosity why do you want to do this?

the barrel on a sar3 that I have been looking at, has canted sights, no threaded barrel and generally in poor condition. I'm still pissed about the 5.45x39 being in short supply, I thought about converting but hey why? i love the 5.45x39, but I also want to shoot, 7.62x39 is getting hard to get around here. so the m-70 is sitting right next to the bulgie collecting dust. I have a limited amount of ammo that I'm a fraid to shoot. I have a huge order in at sportsman guide, i ordered some 76n and wolf  2,760 rounds of 5.45x39........I'm still waiting. mean while, I can go down to the store and buy .223 or 5.56.( it was not ever this hard to get 7.62)
