Sure, why not.

The grip, commonly called the "donkey dong", is pretty comfortable for me.  I used one on a Romy for 2 years and liked it.

The cheekweld on the Romy wire folder sucks balls, if that is important to you.  Very sturdy stock however.

I also have the "donkey dong".  It definitely takes some getting used to, I havent decided if I like it better yet.

sure ! it's your rifle, you can do whatever you want. the "dong" will prolly suprise you how much control you gain when firing, esp. rapid fire. the 74's look pretty cool. IMHO

The "donkey dong" may look goofy at first, but once you handle it, it will grow on you.

The dong is one of the most comfortable and ergonomic forward grips ive used. It fits my hand perfectly and on my WASR-10 I can shoot at a much faster pace keeping a tight grouping at 15-20 yards. Ive also grown to like the looks of it too

Ironwood Designs will have American made versions of the "dong" soon, so we can stay 922r compliant.
