Hey guys, trying to install a Russian side folder ( krink style from K-VAR ), does anyone have any good pics or diagrams, Im trying to figure out how the long hooked spring, and the small hook, mounts. I suspect the small hook locks the stock folded? and the long hooked spring helps spring the stock back out to extend? Thanks in advance for any help. |

NO..... the only spring in there is for the latch.....Where the but stock locks into when folded.... Small hooked end of the spring provides pressure to latch....pookies He has a diagram for cutting the reciver for a side folder but I have not seen any pics of any mounted..... I did install one before and would recomend that you do it with the barrel off...Much easier. Also have a set of forceps curved or straight 1in jaws to aid in the installation.. The problem comes from trying to install the pin thru the latch under spring pressure... This is A MAJOR PITA installation.... |
